James Steele
James began his insurance career over 15 years ago, after several years in leadership and managerial positions in the retail sector. James has worked for some of the biggest and most well-known companies in the country, enjoying ever growing areas of responsibility and success. He has also served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations.
About 5 years ago he decided to form his own company and S&T Insurance Agency was born. Starting his own company afforded him the opportunity to cut through all the red tape and just do the right thing for his customers day in and day out. This philosophy has served James and his clients well and over the past 5 years the S&T Insurance Agency family has grown at a remarkable pace. James and Mike are partners in the business.
James is the “Insurance Sherpa”! He studies the rules and regulations, he knows the form numbers by heart and knows just the right company to make sure your personal or commercial insurance has the right carrier, the right coverage and the right price.
When he doesn’t have his nose buried in the latest issue of an insurance journal, James likes cook and to spend time with his wife Irene and their 4 children in their North Attleboro home.

Mike Douglas
Mike became business partners with James and joined the S&T family officially in 2017. His responsibility, as well as his passion and joy is helping people. Mike is responsible for the training and development of the S&T field and sales staff as well as handling the company’s strategic growth strategies and acquisitions.
Prior to joining the S&T family, over the last 20+ years Mike has worked for a few of the nation’s largest insurance providers and programs. His main roles have been business training and development, business acquisition as well as field team management and support on regional and national platforms.
Mike is very active in civic and fraternal organizations. Mike and his wife Dawn call Cape Cod home and in their spare time they enjoy travel and spending time with their 6 grandchildren.

Alexandria Medeiros
Alex has been with the company since 2016. She runs the day to day activities at the office, manages the customer service and support staff, and is the all-around office mom. If you have called into the office with a question, added a vehicle or driver to your policy or even just left a message, you have had some interaction with Alex.
When Alex isn’t busy making life easier for the rest of us at the office (and walking around the place in her winter coat), she enjoys spending time with her daughter and listening to live music.

Nate “The Great” Sisco supervises the company’s growth in our CT operations. Nate has a wealth of experience in providing much needed insurance products and services to his customers and is always looking for budget friendly ways to help!
Nate and his wife Jessica and their family live in Rocky Hill CT, where Jessica crafts the best baked goods under the Sisco’s Sweets brand.

Bruce Alderson
Bruce works in the customer service department and has the patience of a saint! Did you ever wonder how those registrations got processed so quickly or how those license plates got put on the car in your driveway while you were at work. Mystery solved, it was Bruce!
When Bruce isn’t taking care of business, he takes the time to pursue his interest in all things nautical and historical. Bruce is also an accomplish artist whose work can be seen in galleries and private collections far and wide.
